Hi Raspinder, I think that it is a great way to help the economy when many banks and financiers are refusing to lend when Start-ups have little or not fixed assets to use as collateral. It is a beneficial way to help stimulate the economy by injecting investment into the UK economy to help maintain its competitive position on a global level. Innovation and entrepreneurship helps spur global competitiveness and is key to ensuring a strong position globally. Especially when the UK and the western economies are high tech led economies which rely on such innovation to maintain its position.
